5-star review for a 5-star place! The two doctors are very nice and have your best interest in mind. Plus they carry frames from more interesting companies other than the "evil" monopolistic Luxottica brands. I recommend coming here because the doctors both wear contacts/glasses and know the intricacies of selecting a frame based on style, your face, and your prescription level. The front desk is under training so they're a little newer, but everyone seems to genuinely love working there which helps the atmosphere greatly. Make sure you check out the directory map when you pull into the parking lot, they're around in the back side.

I came here because a friend knew one of the people that works there. I really liked the design of the office. There is a nice view of a pond out the back doors. The people that work there were really nice to me, even though I was misbehaving (I was eating in a place I wasn't suppose to). It was a little hard to find using Google maps, but other people said they didn't have a problem.

This is a great place. So I walked in and everyone was really welcoming. Dr. Mai came up and shook my hand like a champ (firm, not too long and no noodle arming). Man, I thought, if his handshake was any indication, then this check up was going to be awesome. So they collected some information quickly and efficiently. There was no BS stuff, like that high school English essay with 3 out of 5 pages being completely useless (come on, you guys know what I'm talkin' 'bout).

After that, I was brought into a room for an initial check up. It went by so smoothly, I felt like I was in a dream (if only I can stay here forever). Then I was led into a larger office. After answering a few questions, Dr. Mai came in and did the exam. Now, in all seriousness, he was nice, patient and explained everything prior to doing each part of the exam which was nice because it put me at ease. After the checkup completed, he further explained what was going on with my eyes and answered all my questions. Then I got to choose a new pair of glasses! They really do have a nice selection here. So I picked the pair of glasses that I liked and was thinking "Yesss, can't wait to get these babies home and put them on then do math equations all day." Unfortunately they said my glasses will arrive in a week since they need to put the prescriptions on. I was like "Darn, there goes my plans for the next weekend or so." I'm sorry but I just can't do math problems without my glasses.

All in all this was a good visit. The office was excellent. The people were fantastic. Dr. Mai himself, well let's just say if optometry were basketball then Dr. Mai would be Michael Jordan. Never doubt the heart of champion!!!

We went to Insight Vision center after being referred by a family friend. All I can say is Insight Vision Center is the best!! Dr. Mai, Dr. Lam, Jaime and Mimi treated us so wonderfully. We have had issues with our glasses for the past few years and they spent the time to make sure everything was perfect and our vision is now better than it was in high school!! I am so glad my wife and I switched to them. The best part is they took the time to really explain and answer all of our questions. I am very happy we switched to Insight Vision and would recommend this team to anyone that wants to have perfect vision.

This review is long overdue (as in over 2 months) but I have not forgotten the wonderful customer service I received! I came into Insight Vision Center looking for a pair of glasses after looking at at least 8 other places with no luck. I was warmly greeted by Dr. Lam who is hands down one of the nicest and most pleasant people I have ever met. I didn't end up choosing any glasses because I can be a bit picky (although they do have a nice selection). Dr. Lam is so friendly and knowledgeable in her field. I had no luck finding the right pair for me and I was going to leave soon but Dr. Lam then asked me about my studies at UC Irvine and what I am hoping to pursue after I graduate. I told her that I had just decided on pursuing Occupational Therapy, and having some knowledge about that field herself, she offered to email me a link of a long list of different Occupational Therapists in the area that I could possibly shadow. Is that not the nicest thing ever?!?!?! This kind of thing never happens!! I had been making so many cold calls with no luck, and then I meet Dr. Lam who offers to help me out after only having just met me. Ahh this was truly an act of genuine kindness, thanks so much Dr. Lam! After experiencing much difficulty over deciding what career path I should take, I took this as a sign that I am on the right path. I'm so appreciative. What a wonderful person! Her assistant was very helpful as well during my time here ?
