Dr. Thanh Mai, O.D., F.S.L.S., recently visited the Southern California College of Optometry to speak about building a successful private practice. His talk offered students a real-world look at the profession and encouraged them to pursue their goals with confidence.
As an SCCO graduate and owner of Insight Vision Center Optometry, Dr. Mai values the chance to guide future optometrists. His presentation highlighted the experiences that shaped his career and the steps students can take to grow in an ever-changing field.
Dr. Mai shared how his time at SCCO laid the foundation for his clinical skills, leadership, and passion for patient care. He explained that continuous learning and a patient-first mindset opened doors to new opportunities.
